Poltergeist Tackle was launched in September 2017. As a keen angler and with many visits to local tackle shops I became suddenly aware of how expensive fishing tackle had become so I started to shop around for cheaper alternatives.
After many hours of research and making various contacts I finally found one of the biggest suppliers of fishing tackle in China who deal with all the main companies in the UK. With a £10 initial purchase Poltergeist Tackle was born. I started to buy a few bits in and sold onto friends and family, they were amazed at how cheap it was and how good the products were.
Word started to spread so I bought a few more bits and pieces in. I set up a facebook page to help show everyone what I could sell. In March 2018 Danne Jay came on board, a person I had known for some time and he helped to spread the word even further.
We brought on board testers to help check the products we were selling were as good as they should be and we started to develop a nice little range of items.
Today we launch our first official website and online store. We are still a relatively small company, but I believe that we sell only quality items but at affordable prices. We don't have a fancy shop or particularly fancy packaging but we do have great products. The products we sell have already accounted for many fish captures, some of the biggest being 160lb stergeon, 58lb french common carp and 42lb UK common carp.
I'm proud of what we have achieved in such a short period of time and with your help I'm excited for the future and to see just how far we can go.
